Sell unwanted things

Three great apps to help you sell unwanted things before your move

Looking to sell unwanted things before you move? Most families accumulate a great deal of “stuff” during the time they spend in their home, and when it comes time to move, they realize that they have many items that no longer have any use of sentimental value. We tested three apps that can help you sell your unwanted items in an easy and fun way. Check them out:
  • Letgo: This is a highly rated app (4.7 out of 5 in the Apple Store) that allows you to post your items within seconds. Its unique feature is its built in AI (Artificial Intelligence), which quickly recognizes the type of item you have and fills in a lot of blanks, saving you an incredible amount of time. It is a “locally-based” app, so buyers in your immediate area will easily be able to find what you are selling.
  • OfferUp: Another very highly rated app (4.8) that allows you to sell items locally. It’s one of the most used apps around, so the marketplace is very large, which makes it easier for you to put your items in front of a large number of local buyers. OfferUp also offers a great communication system so you can speak to buyers easily, which will help facilitate fast transactions.
  • Facebook: The world’s most popular social media platform is also a great place to sell items locally! Users can list their items in Facebook’s MarketPlace, which will immediately put these items in front of potential local buyers. From what we’ve determined, it’s easy to use and fun too.
Using the apps listed above is a great way to either avoid having a large garage sale, which can take up a lot of valuable time, or to clear out items that are leftover from a garage sale. Either way, we think they are very handy and you should give them a try. Looking to organize your move? There’s apps for that too!
